The origins of HARTMANN TRESORE as we know it today can be traced back quite some way: The company was founded around 150 years ago in the Wewer district of Paderborn, and was originally established as a forge and wheelwright’s workshop. It wasn’t until 1983 that it eventually specialised in safes. To this day, HARTMANN TRESORE AG remains a family-owned company.

HARTMANN TRESORE AG is now one of the leading safe providers in Europe, boasting various offices across Germany, throughout Europe, and even in the Middle East. Yet in spite of this incredible growth, we have always remained true to our roots, choosing to remain in Paderborn when the time came to relocate to our new company headquarters in 2011. Our workflows and processes are certified by VdS GmbH in line with quality management standard ISO 9001.

Our product range includes tested and certified safes in all sizes and security levels for both private and commercial use in line with the Euro standard.
